Demonstrators improve net access

BBCInternet access in Libya is improving in areas under control of the demonstrators, according to an analysis of data flows. Internet traffic has risen in areas that are no longer under Gaddafi’s control.

During the uprising, Gaddafi’s regime has frequently cut off internet access or blocked popular sites such as Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. While regular internet access is returning to many places, Tripoli remains a black spot.
