Gaddafi’s forces seen heading to Ras Lanuf

ReutersGaddafi’s forces advanced east of Bin Jawad on Sunday, heading towards the oil town of Ras Lanuf. “I went to Bin Jawad and about 20 km (13 miles) beforehand I saw Gaddafi forces, a large truck and army vehicles, and a fighter jet, they were coming slowly in this direction,” said a witness.

Footage from a BBC reporter also showed a truck and warplane heading towards Ras Lanuf.

Italian news agency AGI reports that inhabitants of Ras Lanuf are fleeing the town in fear of an attack.
