US Defense Secretary plays down idea of US force

NY TimesDefense Secretary Robert M. Gates played down the possibility of military intervention in Libya. He said there was no agreement with NATO on the matter, and that now was not the time to enter into another war in the Middle East. He did say that they’re “obviously looking at a lot of options and contingencies.”

    Hello Mr. Gates, this is not the time for merely “obviously looking at a lot of options and contingencies.” If your vision of world is pro-democratic, pro-freedom, then act now.
    Go to UN, get a security council referendum and organize a global force to overthrow Gaddafi, else he would continue to kill innocent Libyans by air-raids like he did in Brega. Act now or shut up.
