Thanks, as an American, I have found the courage of the Libyan people very inspiring. I, too, thank our President for recognizing a nation on the brink of freedom.

I recognize Cameron, Sarkozy, and Obama, but who is the woman on the far left?
And who are the three men at the bottom?

The woman on the far left is Susan Rice, US ambassador to the United Nations. I can’t see very clearly who the three men are.

As an American, I am proud of the courage and decency shown by the Libyan people. Americans can identify with the weak and oppressed. As our great author John Steinbeck wrote, “Whenever they’s a fight so hungry people can eat, I’ll be there. Whenever they’s a cop beatin’ up a guy, I’ll be there… I’ll be in the way guys yell when they’re mad an’-I’ll be in the way kids laugh when they’re hungry an’ they know supper’s ready…. I’ll be there.”
